1. Who we are
CallExpress.ai ("we," "our," or "us") provides missed-call SMS follow-up services. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website and services.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, such as business name, contact name, email, phone number, booking URL, and onboarding responses.
We also collect service data needed to operate the platform, including call metadata and message metadata from Twilio (for example: caller phone number, called number, timestamp, call SID, message SID, delivery events, and SMS content).
Like most websites, we collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages viewed for security, debugging, and product analytics.
3. How we use information
We use information to operate CallExpress.ai, including sending missed-call follow-up texts, routing replies, providing reporting, supporting customers, detecting abuse, and handling billing.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with third parties for their own marketing.
4. SMS consent and messaging practices
CallExpress.ai uses SMS only for conversational and informational follow-up. We do not send promotional campaigns, bulk marketing, or unrelated outbound texts from the missed-call workflow.
Consent is implied by inbound contact: when someone calls a customer's listed business number and the call is missed or unanswered, that inbound call is treated as a request for communication and may receive one relevant follow-up SMS.
Typical frequency is one message per missed call, with further messages only if the recipient replies and continues the conversation.
Every recipient can opt out by replying STOP. Recipients can reply HELP for support. Opted-out numbers are suppressed from further messaging.
No mobile opt-in data or SMS consent data is sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Service providers
We rely on subprocessors to deliver the service:
- Vercel — application hosting
- Twilio — SMS and voice
- Stripe — billing
- Neon — database
Each subprocessor only processes data as needed to deliver services to us and is contractually restricted from using data for unrelated purposes.
6. Data retention
We retain account and messaging data only as long as needed for operations, compliance, and recordkeeping. You may request deletion, subject to legal and regulatory retention requirements.
7. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information. Email privacy@callexpress.ai and we'll respond within 30 days.
9. Changes
We'll post material changes here and email account owners. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
